How many of you have a shift boot in your car? Please post pics of it if you do. I'm working on doing the full blackwood interior including ****, and would like to make up my mind about the shift boot. I don't really need to see the lighted number/letters to see which gear i'm in. lol

i think you can just find any shift boot and tuck it in. I wanted to do something with it also since the Stick looks so damn ugly.

 

I know that RMMGS4 and LXOGOOD have one.

I really like the TRD with NSX shifter boot. Any idea how this mod was done? Is there a write up on it anywhere? I was looking around and found nothing.

Im going to be doing this mod in the next couple of days but Im going the Momo route ...I"ll post pics when Im done

 

hmmm.... i bet i can get a leather boot made at a fraction of the cost and be on site when they make it. i was goign to get new car seats too but just dont have the time to do so right now.

 

this one looks good, but I don't like the shift ***(sorry Ricky ) I think an SC wood *** and chrome bezel would look better.

I thought it'd look good with the stock shift ***, but this pic kinda changed my mind.

 

chuckb: No problem. I didn't really like the **** either. Here is my new (old) setup. I changed the **** about 3 days after the initial pic was taken and never took a new pic. (I think)

 

that does look better does the NSX boot stretch too much when in 1st or 2nd gear? It looks like it fits fine.
