Default RX 350 Purchase

2020 RX 350:

MSRP $53,855. Discount of $4,855 off retail. "Selling price" of $49,000 (before tax, doc fee, etc.)

They were going to give me 1.9% through Lexus Financial but dropped it to .9% for 48 months

They also gave me $30,000 for my 2017 GX trade in (40k) miles.

Lexus of Wilmington - great prices, my 3rd car from them. Lexus in Pittsburgh said they couldnt touch the deal.

At least according to the Lexus Website, End of closing today is the last day to pick up December rebates.

Does anyone know / can predict if Lexus Cash will increase on 2020 models as we go on into the year?

Nope. RX is their bread and butter.. they may go back to current amount (1500) in March.. but not higher than that. Selling a 2019 after the 2020 refresh was a tough job, that's why they went to max 2500 right now on 2019s. Don't expect that for 2020.

If you miss today, then expect as another poster mentioned March (Q1 end) and then nothing until summer, and then Dec to remember. Usually the 3 highest packs of cash come then.

If a dealer is holding onto a MY19 at this point, either they know something you dont (quite rare) or they just are terrible at selling vehicles. Anywho, as the months progress see those dealers pull a 180 as inventory costs go up.

Looks like Lexus didn't meet its December numbers this time. The same rebates carried forward to Jan for 2020 modelamode they bumped the 2019 by 500.

Normally the best months to buy are Dec, Jan & Feb.
Dec & Jan are the best, in Dec besides month-end quota incentives you get year-end quota incentives.
During Dec people are Xmas shopping and in Jan, Feb the bills come in and buying cars is not strong in people's mind, that's why one gets the best deals.
One can also wait till summer when they begin to discount unsold stock to make room for the new models, but the choice may not be as good.
I've alsways bought in that period and has served me well over the years.

I was working with Price from Nalley Lexus in Smyrna. Ultimately I did not buy RX but he is a good salesman. His price was best amongst all others. I was offered 12%+$1500 Lexus cash at the time for 2020 and $3000 for 2019. Lexus cash then was to expire on 1/2.
Here is his contact info.
