They will come down more. Use truecar price is 500 under invoice plus any lexus incentives. This should be a minimum discount

I think TrueCar is worthless. From what I can read, Truecar makes their money by being paid by the car dealerships for their contact information. It is in the financial interest of Truecar to work with the car dealers. I am sure that the dealers love it when people walk in with Truecar numbers which are almost always a higher price then what one could negotiate on their own. I know that I have always gotten a better price than Truecar suggested. Your time is far better spent paging through the posts here to read actual buyers experiences than wasting your time on Truecar.

I didn't say to stop negotiating at the trucar price. It is a good starting point, you are able to see the invoice price and go from there.

Thank you again. I find it a little annoying Trucar asks for all your information. How would you suggest offering a starting point of negotiations? I have not purchased a new car in so long and especially a vehicle like a Lexus.

Also, the vehicle I am looking at does not have the towing package. If I am not planning on towing ANYTHING, especially in a Lexus, is this even a concern? Just looking for any advice.

If you're not towing anything then no, it wouldn't mean anything to you.

Final deal:
Custom ordered 2020 Lexus RX450h
Red exterior; black interior
blind spot monitor, park assist, lane keep assist, 360 camera
cold weather package
color heads up display
power folding heated rr seats; heated/vent fr seats
triple beam led, cornering lamps
luxury package
panoramic moonroof
nav + mark levinson
tow prep package
door edge guards
mudguards
cargo mat/net/wheel locks/key glove

4k off msrp + first 5 services included.

Car will arrive in 4 months. They said they'd give us the final deal based on whatever msrp finally ends up being (gave me an estimate of about 63.5k). I guess the incentives change monthly and we can't lock in an interest rate today until the car comes in? This is what we were told. Any one else with experience on this?

I factory ordered a white/black 450h with a similar deal. Worked out great. If you bulld your exact configuration on Lexus.com you will get your msrp number. Mine was exactly the same as the sticker on the car.

Try at least 12% off plus another $1500 Lexus cash.

Thumbs up Fellow Canadians

For my fellow Canadians:

Recently signed this deal at Bel-Air Lexus:

2020 RX 350 Premium (Base model in Canada) - Atomic Silver
MSRP: $58 620
Lexus Canada incentive (discount): $2000
Dealer discount: $2145
Total discount: $4145
Down payment: $2609 ($3000 incl. QC tax)
Lease term / payment: 40 months (18k km/yr) / $278.34 ($320 incl. QC tax) bi-weekly

Shop around, first dealer I went to offered me $1200 dealer discount and said he couldn't do any better. Yeah right!

Let me know if you would like a contact at Bel-Air, service is excellent.
