Just out of curiosity, I looked up TrueCar pricing on the 2020 RX350 that I recently purchased. The "TrueCar Market Average" price that they quoted was only 4.2% off MSRP and even with the additional $1500 Lexus cash back it would have been only 7% off MSRP. That is not a very good deal anymore now with lots of Rx's on dealer lots.
Using the "TrueCar dealer invoice" it would be about 6.5% off MSRP. If someone was offered a price of $500 off this "dealer invoice" but it included the Lexus Cash back, it would only again be 7% off MSRP which is not a very good deal now in December.
I bet most people will save considerable money buying an RX off a dealers lot (or at least one that a dealer can find somewhere else) and getting 10-12% off MSRP (which is doable) even if it had a few options one didn't want or need.
the truecar price includes all rebates and discounts
I ordered a custom 450 RxH in November for 8% of MSRP. Lexus 350 Rx sales are below last year's and Toyota has been trying to do catch up. On top of this, 3 years in a row the November-December months Lexus has sold lesser and lesser 350s. So no wonder, Lexus is going all out to end the year strongly. The best deals will be in December, which is generally the month with the max car sales - close to 13
,000. Give an offer and sit tight. This is the second Lexus I am ordering custom built. I hate to take a discount on cars on the lots where they add in a tow package I don't want or other stuff. That reduces the value of the discount to me. Ordering exactly what I want is better. These days you can pull a good discount on custom orders as well. If you order now it will come in March when the incentives start. None if February.

so, I'm looking for a 2020 RX350 F-sport with triple beam headlights and ML sound system. Seems like this was available on the 2017 as std option, now it requires a 60k msrp for these options
what's the best price that people have gotten on the 2020's in the Virginia Maryland area?
2020 RX 450H F Sport in Phoenix, AZ, purchased early November
MSRP: $62,775
Dealer invoice: $59,544
$58,989 after $1,500 December to Remember rebate
$65,339 OTD
Pretty much all the packages and options (see attached spec sheet)...
12.3 Nav with Mark Levinson
Panoramic View Monitor
Panoramic Moonroof
Cold weather package
Color HUD
Rear door kick sensor
Triple beam headlights
Heated/Ventilated seats
They also threw in all weather floor mats (plus trunk) in addition to the fabric ones

Reason: Added MSRP and Dealer Invoice amounts
If you are near SoCal, you should really try Tustin Lexus. That's where I purchased an RX 450h last month and got 12.8% off an MSRP of $62,505 bringing me down to $54,500 after the $1,500 rebate. I don't think this exact deal can be replicated right now, but very very close. PM me if you need the persons name that I dealt with.
Bought my 2020 RX 350 FWD yesterday from Putnam in NorCal. Sticker $47,315, I've offered $41,500, they countered $42,315 ($5K discount off MSRP), I agreed, so the final price I paid was $40,815 (after applying $1,500 Lexus cash). Almost 14% off the sticker. It was clear that they would have agreed to a better deal if I came on December 31st.

Putnam has great deals, do they still offer the free lifetime drivetrain warranty?

That's a screaming deal. My dealer in Colorado wouldn't budge on a 3% discount of a 450h (excluding $1500 lease cash.) I asked for 10% off MSRP (excluding lease cash) but he kept claiming scarcity of inventory as the reason they wouldn't negotiate. There are fewer dealers out here than in California. Maybe I should just buy in CA and drive back to Colorado
Oh well!
I found a different dealer to play ball on a '20 450H.
MSRP: $56,595
Invoice price: $50,946
Accepted their offer: $50,873 (8.53% discount off MSRP)
Additional incentives: $2500 ($1750 Lexus cash + $750 Lexus loyalty)
Total cost (minus acquisition fees, tax, etc.): $48,373 (13.15% discount off MSRP total)

Does anyone know when the $750 Lexus loyalty began? Edmunds is showing it started on 12/03 but it also shows the $1750 rebate starts on 12/03. I picked up my 2020 rx450h on 11/21 and got the $1750 rebate. I turned in my 2017 lease at the same time and no mention of a $750 rebate.

I'm not sure. I think the incentives went live on both on Dec. 3. I thought the November rebate was only $1500, maybe you had a different incentive?
