Little bit of a rant here but, it may be User Error. I've got a '15 RCF and Iphone X. The bluetooth interface for the phone and Siri seems to have recently crapped out. I thought it may have been one of the recent IOS updates but, the capabilities work fine in my wife's '13 LX570.

1) When answering an incoming call using the steering wheel button or using the phone, call will pick up, show on nav screen, appear to hang up, switch over to phone, then back to handsfree on car. All over about 10 seconds IF the person on the other end doesn't hang up before that.
2) Making an outgoing call using Siri. The same sequence that happens with incoming calls occurs.
3) I used to be able (and still can in the LX) to say "Hey Siri, Open Starbucks App or Chick Fil A app or Wazeor whatever" and the phone would open that app Great for placing mobile orders or an address/location. Not I get a verbal message from Siri saying I can't do that while you're driving or there is a car icon on the screen.

Anybody else running into these issues and/or have a fix?

Try delete your phone from the infotainment system, and then pair it again with the car.

 

Thank you. This partially worked. Receiving and making calls is no longer fubar. Apps will still not open via Siri. I did ensure that the Do Not Disturb is turned off.

 

can you make phone calls with siri? If yes, check if the app you trying to use has siri enabled.

 

^^^ Thanks, yes able to make calls with Siri. Also, it is enabled on the Apps. It works in our '13 LX570 but, not in my '15 RC F (opening apps).
