Default Rev beep?

Hi!
I have read that people get a «beep» when to shift gear, I have no beep, but flashing light. I have a 2015.

The RC F Sport's have a light, and the normal RC's have a light also, but the actual RC F has a beeper. It technically only beeps during S+ mode, when in manual mode. It never beeps in automatic mode. Other users have had the same 'problem' you might be having, where there is no beep.

Did you try messing with the gauge cluster or anything yet? Because, like you said before, the only change you remember doing was changing something on the gauge cluster.

Yeah, I did change the skin of the sport and sport+, but I am not sure if that is what has resulted in no beep near the rev limiter.

Back a few months ago, you said once April hit and you were gonna drive your F again, that you were gonna try reverting the skins of sport and sport+ mode back to stock, after we got into the discussion of if the rev beeper could be turned off.

Yeah, I remember. I believe the OP has not switched the skins, but he is seeing the same thing as I am so I am quite sure that is not the cause.

Go into settings and make sure the rev indicator is turned on, then make sure the set RPM isn't above redline or something stupid. The beep happens in Sport and Sport+ in manual mode when it gets to the red light (yellow-orange-red).

Initialization resets all the display settings, so you can try that also.

The beep will come whenever you reach redline. So, if you set the RPM gauge to 4000, and you rev the car up to 4000, the beeper should sound (in theory)

Just remember, I think you have to be in SPORT+ and in manual mode for it to work.

When in doubt, RTFM.

From the settings menu, you can turn it off/on, then set the RPM you want.

I looked at the rev indicator setting and I saw three setting options. All of the three looked the same except the needle in each case was at a different rpm. In the setting 1, it was at around 6100 rpm, in setting 2 it was at around 6500 rpm and the setting 3, it was at 6900 rpm. Does that mean the needle was indicating where the beeper will sound? Mine was already set to setting 3 so I am wondering why I still don't remember hearing a beep? Am I missing something?
