I might have to take a trip to the local dealer to see for myself.

It's not that the dealer won't do it, it's more of can they do it. The dealership don't care either way so there is no reason for them to hold back a program that could be avalible.
TLDR the dealers would update if it's available for update. It's not available as of right now FYI.
For the Lexus production JB4 only Map 0 (JB4 disable) Map 1 (+4psi) and Map 2 (+5psi) are active.
No proven power gains between the 2 systems. The JB4 just allows you to connect to the OBD port for engine readings like AFR, boost, etc.
Just installed JB4, but stock boost gauge never goes over 0.75 bar unless it's in 1st gear it goes to 1.25 bar. Prior to installing JB4, the stock boost gauge would max out all the time and flash red.
Does this mean JB4 is set to map 0? Anyone know which map it defaults to once installed?
Early next year will be our release. And we will be implementing our custom EROM patching to this ECU.
It completely changes ...everything about tuning this car. As we now have control to customize and change actual tables in the ECU to do what we want, how we want, etc.
For example in the Tacoma we really didn't like how the ignition control is setup, so we created our own ignition table for the ECU to follow. as seen below.

With a piggyback tune the stock boost gauge will read the altered (lower) boost signal being sent back to the ECU. The JB4 should be set to MAP 1 (+4psi).

Wow that is some exciting news for IS200T owners and potential purchasers! I am sure I read that there is a 'high flow' turbo being developed as well? So in saying that could we realistically expect better than tuned IS350 performance with full bolt on mods? Or close to A45 AMG numbers??
