I didn’t remove mine, just removed my BMS tuner. No one said anything. They technically can’t since it’s still a proper intake system doing the same function as stock. Not going to go into the whole details about the moss magnuson act, but yeah lol.

I took mines with fbo & stage2+ tune for oil change and fuel injector clean service. Even told them to check for leaks around the ftp charge pipe. They said no problem

Is there a way to do a secondary cat delete on our cars, or do we have to replace the entire downpipe as well?

Anyone running a custom DP, or everyone has one from PPE?

PS: Anyone selling a BMS tuning box and willing to ship to Canada? Lol PM me

Also, anyone able to get some pops and crackles in their exhaust note?

Running magnaflow mufflers, removed the 2 resonators and the car just sounds too tamed like my TSX lol.

Hoping a downpipe (or cat delete if possible) would not only give more power, but give the exhaust note some 'excitement'.

How do you guys have your JB4 routed in your engine bay and stuff? I just got my JB4 upgrade kit and was wondering how everybody routed their cables etc.

It would be good to have the real times. Anything, 20-60 mph, the same car with box and without. If anyone can do it on the closed something above like 40-100 mph etc.

Any volunteers?
Apparently the JB4 is no faster than the BMS stage 1. So use those #s. if there's no #s, find any BMW 328i stock #s. whatever those are, realize your IS200t BMS/JB4 #s won't be faster than those. Even with FBO apparently (though with FBO you'd get very close to a stock 328i)

is this still not true Sheddy? (i haven't kept up with the very latest 200t tuner developments)

Racechip ultimate was the first system I tried and I felt that the processor was too slow to keep up. As of now the BMS stage 1 and JB4 is pretty much does the same thing. The JB4 just allows you to get engine readings from the OBD port connector but doesn’t impact the performance any greater than Stage 1 with a data cable.

@Flash- I ran the OBD cable through a grommet on the drivers side firewall and I secured the box near the battery.

I was able to score a TOM’s PowerBox from Japan for cheap so I’ll be running that pretty soon since I plan on getting another car at the end of the year.

Is Map2 the optimal choice? +5 PSI seems ideal.

MAP 2

I am currently running the TTI Stage 2+ with a stock downpipe and i haven't had any issues. I could definitely say that the car feels less responsive and that torquey feeling has diminished.

Is TTI the only option for a reflash currently for the 2L turbo? Also, if you have a reflash, why would the power start diminishing? That is the reason I got away from piggy back boxes, they go away in time. But I'm confused, why would a tune go away?
