Man that light looks awesome. It is definitely bright! Any consideration to smoking the lens slightly w/ film? Then it could be usable more often and still provide visibility from behind
it’s a great idea. I hadn’t even thought of that. Probably smart as I’ll never be able to use it in Texas since it’s so rarely ever foggy. Lol.

looks great! Where did you get the JDM rear fogs and how difficult was it to install?
I’m on a mini roadtrip with the family in the Boston area with the LC - just a supreme GT. Cruises so quietly even with the whipping winds around here yesterday.

be warned. This is not plug and play for the North America market. The ECU that is plug and play is the JDM and European markets only. With a lot of time and creativity it is possible to make it work, but it is not for the faint of heart. Technically the rear bumper needs to be removed for proper installation as well.
Ran OEM (no spacers) for a week or so, sold my 15mm Akata spacers. Like the spacer look better so I had to buy new spacers. Went with 15mm Bonoss this time around, another well respected product. Run by a few members on this site.

With up to 9” of snow forecasting for Tuesday, I don’t think the LC500 is going to come out until next Spring.
Fuel Stabilizer, Tires pumped up, and battery on trickle charge. I still wipe down the dust every now and then and move it out to the driveway every few weeks.
The AWD LS will suffice. 🤣

Nite Nite, LC....
This would likely make me cry like a baby, If I had to do this...

Living in Illinois, I can relate... Two questions:
1) What PSI do you set for winter?
2) Are you connecting your charger to the jumpstart point under the hood, and why do you prefer this vs the actual battery in the trunk? Where's the ground?

Trickle charger ground is clamped onto the strut tower stud.

1)Nominally, my tires PSI are at 36PSI(when warmed up). I pumped them up to 45psi just to give it some more pressure to handle the stationary car for several weeks. I do start the car and drive it to the end of the driveway and back a couple time and park the car outside for the day when the weather is nice just to get stuff moving. And when I park it back in the garage, the wheels are at a different position. This hopefully reduce or eliminate any flat spot. I forgot it in the picture but I have a little blue marking tape on the wheels so that I know where their positions are.
2)I can do either way but I do prefer it under the hood. The trunk is a PITA for me because I have to lift up the rubber cargo mat, then the panel to get to the battery terminal. I know there's way to get the cable out of the trunk so you can close it but I'm not going to do that. If the trunk not closed, the light in the trunk will stay on. This bothers me. The hood is the easiest for me and nothing stays on. I can lock the doors.
As Tim stated, the ground connection to the charger is at one of the bolts on the strut tower. And yes, I did check them with a voltmeter and confirm that they're conductive and is grounded to the frame.
Stored/covered for the winter (carcover.com). Like others, if a sunny dry day pops up then it may get moved outside and idled for a bit. Trickle charger (CTEK MXS 5.0) runs to the back connected directly to the battery. Hard wired with a quick-disconnect plug. While one could close the trunk completely on the wire (seals are soft), I prefer not to. So I'll take a flat blade and push down on the trunk latch thus turning off the light and removing the trunk open notification from the App.
Magoo as well Nick, did it 5 days ago. Oil and filter change.Tires at 45psi. Good hand wash. Clean the barrels of the rims and calipers. Connected, the trunk set up at the battery with the smart charger and some stabilizer. Put on the winter covers and onto the lift. High and dry till spring. zzzzzzzzzzzzzz!
