im sure she didnt know that the tires are different sizes,,she's use to all the other Lexus models with 4 same size tires.

I will state one fact that is hard to dispute. Changing oil every 6 month or 5,000 miles, whichever one occurs first is not going to be detrimental in any way.
Risking hijacking the thread and slapped down, I must ask; thought this was paramount to preserving Lexus Certified Pre-owned status.

The manual states it for conventional oil. When I used conventional before switching over to F.S, I still changed it once a year or 5K then put it away for winter. I decided to go to F.S and still maintain the 5K Interval or yearly when I put it away in November. If you are changing the oil at 6mnth intervals and only have 2-3K on it, imo u are wasting $$. Unless under extreme conditions, dusty roads, and or tracking it.

I am fortunate with the location of my dealer: it's a half mile from where I work, so I can drop it off and hoof it. And typically someone I know offers to pick me up along the way. Frankly, I'd rather walk, but I won't decline their generosity!
Very cool...I'm almost in the middle of 2 different dealerships; one about 4 miles away and the other about 7. I prefer the one that's 7 miles away, they treat me way better. LOL

It does not specify what type of oil,, synthetic or dino.
It does not specity brand of oil. It does call for oil and filter change every 6 months or 5,000 miles with 5w-30 that meets the ILSAC GF-6A standards. Everyone wants to give their 2 cents and justify the oil and interval they think the car needs. If a person wants to do it yearly because of low miles, go ahead. You just saved yourself $80. I will state one fact that is hard to dispute. Changing oil every 6 month or 5,000 miles, whichever one occurs first is not going to be detrimental in any way.
You guys must not be daily driving. I change every 5k miles and that's every 2 months.

I just got tuned today! Finally cracked the ECU and got the tune put in. The car pulls much stronger at low end and the air/fuel ratio is once again dialed back in to factory spec, so I can get my MPG back after running super rich with the headers. I drove 400 miles recently all highway and couldn't get over 23mpg. Hopefully this gets me back to the 28+ range.

Dyno will probably be in January now. Have a buddy with an RCF and another with a GSF both with headers and were recently tuned by the same person as well, so they also want to dyno. Trying to find a day that aligns with all parties including the tuner for any adjustments once on dyno

Love it. I change every 5k normally (3x a year essentially) but might bump that to 3k since I've put a few track days on this oil and temps have climbed each time.
