Great pictures and comparison of original design to modified body embellishments. There is a clear winner here, and just my tastes, between the two. Improving perfection is loaded with misfires.

I must agree, when it comes to the overall lines and flow of the original design of the LC...I am also a fan.
Though I do appreciate that everyone "looks out their own window!" 👍🏾

agreed. And I learned that if you don’t have anything nice to say, keep it to yourself. I don’t put energy and passion into my car to have it referred to as a misfire. That’s not what these forums are for and it’s disrespectful.

Cheers.
I dont think anyone intended anything mean-spiritedly. While it may not be for me, I appreciate what you've done with your LC. In some ways it actually draws the eye to the lines/design of the LC itself.
I will say I especially like the rocker panel extensions/aero, especially to protect this lovely machine's flanks. I'm having a hard time pulling the trigger on them myself because I dont want to add a front splitter and feel like the rocker aero would look odd without it to balance them out. I have PPF protecting her flanks for now All your work looks clean and well done!
I've actually considered doing a thunderbirds-inspired vinyl setup on top of my PPF. It wouldnt be permanent but would be fun to take to the air shows for a couple years at least. However I may catch flack being a USAF veteran not USN and most certainly not a pilot (in my dreams!).
At the end of the day the only thing that matters is that the owner enjoys the car. A shame we couldnt chat on the 2nd but hopefully we can get a sizeable hill country LC gathering organized soon!
