Quick but nice trip to the coast. This is Kure Beach
Got there too late in the day and light too overhead to get the bright out of this color. Were in shade. Nice day.
This car is just about perfect for such a trip. Way too much traffic coming back today but we carved through.
The very high performance cars are nervous. You want that on the ragged edge on track or robbing a bank, if you have the skill or the luck. But this Lexus is so well suited to real life driving. Easy to place on a certain line in a turn and IT WANTS TO STAY ON THAT LINE. The super high performance cars more involvement because there is more there to do. That intense involvement is great but not for 5 hours straight in all sorts of traffic. Today was very good.
EDIT: just noticed that the unique LC wheels actually complement the twisted branches of these beautifully weathered coastal trees.

I do get unsolicited comments that folks like the color. Infrared is a special shade, but the “red convertible” thing is a bit worn out. And honestly, there is definitely such a thing as too much attention. Infrared moves in that direction, but we still really liked having the red coupe.
Mine didn't get outta the garage today either. So I don't have a Sexy Background. But they are definitely happy with where they sleep. I will resubmit once I get her outta the house!
