After initially taking many deep breaths and cursing myself for letting her drive it, it appears that PPF did its job as a sacrificial layer. Looks like minor abrasion on the actual paint underneath - will take it back to my PPF shop and see what they recommend doing. Perhaps they can lightly polish or something. At least it's on the underside - still sucks though.
Good call! My apologies I haven't actually spent time under the front corner so to me it looked like maybe the bumper is buckled there in the middle, but if thats how it's meant to look rather than actually being bent then I'd say PPF did it's job to keep this in the "touch up and replace ppf" rather than the "repaint" category!
You can also see a quick look at the individual parts on my youtube video. Around the 1:08 mark is when i show them. I’ll be uploading the video of the kit installed on the car later today as well.

Not from today - but Saturday night. My car spends 95% of its time in the country, and 4% commuting to north of the city. Took it (for the remaining 1%) to downtown Toronto at night. My first night drive in 10 weeks of ownership. Picture doesn't do USB 2.0 justice. And if you're getting anxious with the e-scooter zipping by, so was I. But I figured it was the safest spot to park the car, with a hydrant behind and my parents car (not pictured) in front.
Got my vinyl completed today, save for the lower front bumper corners which I will have completed on Friday after the PPF in that area is touched up as it's lifting a little underneath the bumper.
I am pleased with the look. My favorite is the rear end shot, the pin stripes really make the look for me especially adding the one to the wing. The side skirts look good for me but I can't say with honesty that I'll love it years from now, so the beauty of vinyl is if I feel that way eventually I'll just pull it one day and maybe replace with a pin-stripe that is more subtle.
You might should doublecheck that your film place will pay for your repaint if the film bakes on to your paint.
And anyone who says that can't happen doesn't know what they are talking about.
Bruce in the They Don't Call It The SUNSHINE State for nothing
It's sitting on top of PPF. plus my car is garaged. I had vinyl on my GS for 6 years and it peeled off no problem when I had to redo a section of the mirror.
Tried the pinstripe on the hood this morning, don't love it. Likely will remove this weekend after a few days to see if it grows on me..
On the other hand I added the fins for the diffuser and I'm loving that addition! I think the rear is starting to feel too busy though so I won't be adding anything more back here.
