Kids plural? Does one sit in the back? I haven't had anyone sit back there yet. Went to pick up the brother at the airport last week, kind of embarrassing when loading his luggage (told him to use a soft side, didn't listen). Since it didn't fit in the trunk, went thru the process of removing the windscreen to put it in the backseat after putting the top down. We were the center of attention at the arrival isle.
Ha ha! That reminded me of when I went to Kauai with the wife a few years ago. We had a lot of luggage as it was part of a multi-state trip. Well, we rented a convertible. Had they given us a Mustang we would have been fine, but they gave us a Camaro. It had less trunk space, I think, than an LC! So we took the top down in order to get the luggage into the back seat. Not a big deal, but it was 11pm Hawaii time after a long day of traveling from the east coast. Amusing memories, anyway!

One time the company relocated me to Oahu. Thought it would be fun renting a Mustang Convertible and cruising the island. Several hours of driving and didn't realize how much Sun I had till that night, sick as a dog from Sun poisoning (yes, young and dumb). I was in bed the next two days, then the skin exfoliation started. Chunks of skin was dropping off, not a good feeling. Couldn't even tell while during driving that the Sun was doing so much damage. Never again!.
Also saw the same thing happen to Tourists snorkeling and their backs being exposed. Even to this day I wear a rash shirt that has SPF protection.

Oof. As a colleague of mine is fond of saying: "More is learned from a single mistake than from a lifetime of successes."

We go to Maui a couple times a year. There is ALWAYS at least ONE convertible Mustang/Camero convertible rental car pulled over on the side of the highway putting the top up about 15-20mins from OGG. Without fail....haha....people think it's a great idea to start their Hawaiian holiday with the top down....and then realize just how much it sucks in the 3pm sun!
NickL,
This is off topic. I am entertaining the idea of trading in the GSF for the LC. What has been your experience? Do you have any regrets? Was the extra space in the GSF not a factor in your situation? Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

Sent you a long PM on it.
But in short, I do miss the GSF for its practicality. I can put on winter wheels and use it year round in NE.
If I could do it over again, I would allocate some fund to keep the GSF while getting the LC500. Now, that ship has sailed and finding another 2020 GSF in great condition that doesn’t command msrp price is impossible. I would be lying if I say I don’t search for a GSF everyday. Lol
I thought the new wheel design was hideous in photos...but then I saw them in person.
I’ve been saying this. The standard ‘24 wheels are much better in person. When I first saw it on a performance coupe and test drove at the dealer, I prefer it over the previous years that, to me, has too much chrome.
On bold colors like USB, IR, and FY, they really look more sporty and less flower pedals than the previous years.
