May I ask why the hybrid and not the V8? Purely for gas mileage?
I never driven a hybrid before. Actually, I’ve never seen one available in this area since the LC came out.
Yes, mainly for the gas mileage. Maybe it's weird of me, but I remember, growing up in the '70s as I did, the gas shortages of the time. I think it left a mark in my brain, as I always try to get the best gas mileage possible with my cars. I love the styling of the LC, and the hybrid will allow me the gas mileage to go with that styling.
It was also an easier sell for my wife, as we'll be saving money in the long run over the V8 version!

I have the upgraded 10 spokes and it came with the Dunlops. Seems like it’s luck of the draw. I wanted the Michelins too though I have no complaints on the Dunlops thus far.

Neither have most Lexus salesmen! That was the case at my dealership.
Yes, I placed an order back in March; it was rejected because of the wheel upgrade. So I placed a new order in April and got the upgraded wheels anyway. I might have been tempted to do a Bespoke, but at the time they said that Bespoke orders were not possible on the hybrid version. Also, there was really only one other feature that I might have wanted (the speed-activated rear wing), but it wasn't worth the cost of the Bespoke plus the $1000 for the wing itself. And it was a moot point anyway!
I think I remember hearing (in an LC review video on Youtube) that in 2023 Lexus sold 37 hybrids in the US, and in 2022 they sold 19.
A couple months before I ordered mine, there was one available about 500 miles away in the same color scheme, but it wasn't quite the build I wanted, and the timing also wasn't optimal, so I passed. I see them pop up every so often when I do searches around the US.
