Took this Pic in the parking lot waiting for the kids to finish gymnastics class. In this lot I always park where it's not actually parking to eliminate risk of door owies
Kids plural? Does one sit in the back? I haven't had anyone sit back there yet. Went to pick up the brother at the airport last week, kind of embarrassing when loading his luggage (told him to use a soft side, didn't listen). Since it didn't fit in the trunk, went thru the process of removing the windscreen to put it in the backseat after putting the top down. We were the center of attention at the arrival isle.

They both sit in the back! The 7 year old behind the passenger seat with the seat back moved up quite a bit (but not so far that my wife can't still also sit) and the 4yo in a high back booster behind me. Once she sits she tucks her feet up so I can sit comfortably to drive and then we're off. I make her take her shoes off
We have done just one drive with the 4 of us so far, but planning a short 3 hour road trip soon and want to take the LC so we'll see how that goes!

Your a great Dad, they probably enjoy the ride. My 21yr described it like a "roller-coaster" as a passenger, but that could have just been the way I drive!
We just lost the NX this morning, our 16yr was headed to school and at a stop light. Other car made a wide right turn and hit her head on (probably on the phone). Luckily all walked away, but both cars were towed. The other car was some kind of small Ford SUV, crazy thing is they had much more severe damage and loss of fluids. Any crash you walk away from is good.
Here’s a pic with my son who is about 48” tall. I feel that the backseats in the coupe are made too wide(front to back). I understand they want wide seats for adult but they forgot about the roof line limitation. I think that if the seats are more narrower like the convertibles, the backseats in the coupe would be much more useful for kids.
With the wider front to back seats, the kid’s leg are up in the air and their feet are more likely to touch the back of the front seat forcing you to push the front seat all the way to the front. If they could put their feet down, two kids can be in the back easily with a narrower seats. I’m wondering if I can swap the convertible backseats into my coupe. This would allow them an additional 4-5” of legroom back there. I don’t need to haul my kids in my LC but maybe a fun project.

Ah sorry to hear about the NX but yes definitely important that everyone is fine. Hope your daughter is handling it OK!
The kids beg me all the time to take "the blue car" unless they're hungry. If they're hungry then we take the van because no food in daddy's car .
The one thing they love about the LC is that the speakers in the rear are perfectly positioned for them, and they feel like they get their own personal speaker. So they request Taylor swift, I send the audio fader to the rear so I get to hear delicious engine noises, and everyone is happy LOL

Yup the rear seats are quite deep in the seat area. Mine sometimes sit cross legged because that's how deep they actually are!

Your better than me, drivers choice on Music. Don't worry, soon enough they will have their own PD's and earplugs. Then it's just who's paying for what streaming service (because no one can agree with one service in my house).

One day lol..if it was any other car I'd probably say drivers choice also but I haven't tired of hearing this V8 in the slightest so I don't fret when they request music

My daughter is in the Taylor Swift mode too these days. Who isn't? lol. She sits in a booster seat on the passenger side and is perfectly content even when my wife is in the front seat.
