2022 LC, with sport package thus have 21" wheels and the tires are runflat Dunlops. Thinking about getting some nice after market wheels, and just go back to 20" rims as the selection is bigger and bigger selection of tires in the 20" category. Goin to go to non run flats. The tires I have seem fine and they are quiet but super expensive. Guessing the run flats don't last as long anyways.
The car comes standard with 20", so there should be no issue with going back to that, correct??
Correct other than the look/cosmetic in filling the wheel well. All in what you like.
Exactly what I would have thought until I checked out matters. Almost unbelievably, the rear 20 inch wheels with the standard 40% profile have an overall diameter of 728 mm whereas the 21 inch with the standard 35% profile is 725.9 mm. Got to say this surprised me and I'm pretty sure this is correct given my points of reference are these sites which both come out with the same answers. Will they fit and Rim and tire
Curiously, 20 and 21 inch fronts are exactly the same overall diameters. Still, at least I now know why the 21 inch look so weedy in the wheel well says he with 20 inch wheels ;-)

I have the opportunity to pick up some Michelin Pilot Super Sport 295 30 ZR21 and I’m wondering if they would fit on our cars. I have the perfomance package on my LC.
^^^^Yes, 255/40/21 on the front stock 8½" wheels is fine. the stock 275/35/21 rear tires will work fine with the 255s in front. The rear 9½" rear wheels can go up to 285/35/21, but that size is hard to find.
295/35/21s are too wide for the stock 9½" wheel.
IOW, Too wide and wrong cross section - Too small an OD.
I've had my LC for about a month now and the ride isn't as smooth as I was hoping it would be. It has the Michelin RF's on 21" rims. This is the first car I've ever driven with RF's and I'm not sure if the ride quality is being compromised with this type of tire. I've read that some of you have switched over to conventional tires. Have you really noticed much of a difference after the change?
Enzo - RF ,low aspect ratio tires seem the antithesis of the LC500 concept. Suggest you consider switching to 20" rims with a conventional aspect ratio tire. Tire Rack is a great research tool for such plans. Consider a high quality "Grand Touring" tire instead of the Ultra high performance summer tires? Much depends on your driving style.

Switching to 20" rims is not going to happen. I love the look of my 21" rims too much to make the change. I'm curious to know if changing out the run flats to conventional tires will make a noticeable difference.

I am running Vossen wheels, 9½" in front and 10½" in back with 255/40/21 and 295/35/21 Michelin PS4S.. However I was not looking for a smoother ride, but for an all-round better handling car. I achieved my desired result

Are you able to post some pictures of your wheels and tires?
Does anyone know where we can pickup a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport ZPs for the stock 21s? Tirerack has been out of stock of 245/40/21 for months now with no ETA on additional supply. :|
