General EV Conversation
I guess if I were to go EV I could swap the wire to a 4 gauge. It looks fairly simple.
I can adjust the amperage on the charger app.
How far is your charger from your electrical panel? Mine is maybe 6-7ft.
Mine is in our laundry room near the garage. There was a shorter route to a less ideal location that was only about 7 or 8 ft, but I wanted it where I wanted it, so I think it was around 20 ft.
And you should be fine with #6 at 32A max. I think the issue is with the Tesla chargers 48A max using some types of #6, so I just decided to go with #4.

Same, Nov 24th! I've been using it more, and the one mistake it made yesterday was I was on a stretch with an arrow light for a left turn lane (it was the only stop light), and although I wasn't in the left lane, when it turned yellow my car started to stop, I had to hit the throttle to keep going. There was nobody behind me so nobody needed to slam their brakes, but had someone been behind me, it would have annoyed them at the very least
So they gave you another week? This incident is not new. It's been doing this since pre V12. With this new version, one strange thing is it randomly shows "P" spot. I was reading a post yesterday and thought you might wanted to read that post because you seemed to entirely trust tesla to park for you. This guy said it hit a parking pole while backing. Others chimed in and apparently they also had random mis-behaviors.
I don't fully trust anything automated, and I monitor it when using the auto park feature. I hundred percent know it can miscalculate, but so far it's parked perfectly every time, unlike my wife who has hit objects more time than I can count and costed me $1000 in damage on our last lease
Did you all see these new Scout EV's..? I love the combo of modern + retro. I had no idea that VW had purchased the 'Scout' name a few years ago. I love the styling inside and out of the SUV.

Yeah, it's in the Car Chat area of the forum. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/car...oad-brand.html

Agree, I think the EV9 is a well thought out and well-executed vehicle (especially the interior). I don't care for the exterior styling, but I don't exactly love the exterior styling of my MYP either (although I do like it more than the EV9).
For vehicles that would compete with this: Anyone see the Lucid Gravity? Orders start 11/7. Kinda looks like a Lucid + minivan + Venza all mixed together. https://www.cnbc.com/2024/10/29/lucid-gravity-suv.html

Indeed he did. It's one the best executed full size SUV EV's, IMO of course. If I was replacing our Sienna, this would be on the short list...unfortunately it's a bit pricey and is only worth it leasing, and all the good lease offers are two year. I'm also finding out that limiting to 10k miles a year is problematic, my Polestar is already 6k over and it looks like our Ioniq 5 may be going over the allowed mileage, my wife has already put on almost 15k miles and we still have until June or July of next year before the lease is up
