Swap one on? It's like $1000 max I think

EDIT: $500 for a 2022 TRD heated wheel, I think you can do the swap for well under $1000

Just the leather. The wood would be nice too but I'm not complaining! It gets hotttttt.

Would the 2022 wheel work on my 2021? A heated wheel wasn't even an option on the 2021s. I'd need to add a control and make sure the steering wheel controls all match up with mine.

Wait until you have a car where the whole wheel is heated, way better. The wheel in the Pacifica gets so hot it gets a little too hot!

Can't say this with 100% certainty, but that's probably done for a reason. On cold winter mornings, over time, repeatedly subjecting the wood in the steering wheel to relatively rapid swings in temperature, from cold to hot and back again, would cause stress and cracking. Not so with the leather.

I know they have overcome that challenge, or at least there are plenty of vehicles with the wood that heats up too.

That does sound nice but I'm fine with just the leather. It gets quite hot. Seat heaters are excellent too in LX (and realllllly in SL), they're just okay in my LS430.... the car has to warm up for them to start blowing warm, which defeats the whole purpose.

Yep.....seat heaters are NICE when you are feeling chilly. The ones in my Subaru Outback and Encore GX have an electric grid, so they heat up relatively quickly.

They're just so stupid on an LS430, they blow hot air but the car has to warm up first. I want the heating elements that burn your behind off within a minute, like yours.

I think LX570 has both heating elements and a blower, they're great. SL has jet afterburners under the seats, lol. Have to turn them down they get so hot.

Not the case. Plenty of people heat the wood portion of the wheel with no issues. It’s just more complicated to do it and Lexus cheaped out. My Jeep even had a heated wood section of the wheel.

Mercedes lets you choose just grid heating or also a blower. That’s why you can turn on seat heating and seat cooling at the same time.

If you wanted to keep it accurate, it would have to be "VR6VR6".

Not common by any means, but if you're damp and cold, using the "cooling" fan in combination with the heater can help you dry faster. I think I've done it twice in our Q7.

Because its not cooling, its just blowing air when the heated seats are also on. So it blows the hot air vs just heating the pad in the seat.

Our BMW's do this too. It makes for a nice even comfortable warmth.
