Agreed. I stopped speeding years ago. Took me a minute to get used to not braking every time I saw police.

I drive the flow of traffic regardless of the speed limit and I don’t brake when I see police either.

You can pass a cop on 270 doing 75-80 in a 55 and they won’t stop you, because they would have to stop everybody. Going to WV the speed limit goes up to 70 and I set the cruise at 80, cops on the side of the road never flinch.

Guilty of that I guess lol

That's my theory anyway and have no idea if that's reality or not.
Extremely accurate, that's why I like boring ultra fast cars. Easy to blend in and hide

I got pulled over in my maroon color Porsche more times than all the times ever for every car I owned.

They loved to mess with me.

I once got pulled over and had to do a sobriety test on the side of the road.

So desparate to pull me, the cop followed me for miles and then said "it looked like I was swerving", yeah my ****, I saw him behind me and had my cruise on driving in perfect behavior.

PS- I was stone cold sober btw and it all stopped when I got rid of the car so that's what I was basing my theory on.

people will criticize older AMGs for being "boring" on the styling front but i wanna be as indistinguishable as possible to the average driver lol, and if i get some attention i'll know it's because that person knows

Yup had a similar incident in my bright blue Dakota. It was a V8/manual, so I liked to have fun with it. Did a very nice, controlled drift around a right turn at a stop light, and got pulled over moments later. Cop asked if I had been drinking, and aside from the fact that it was like 10am, I let him know that I was either recovering from or preparing for surgery (it was almost 25 years ago, don't remember which), and that the primary side effect of mixing alcohol with the prescriptions they had me on was death, so I hadn't had a drink in almost 2 weeks. He wasn't terribly happy, but let me off with a warning.

Me too. And there’s nothing wrong with those front ends! The E55 I want the most is the original, it’s beautiful just like yours.

That's one reason I'm tempted to pull the badges off the back of the W12, the LS460 and 4.0 already run slick so there is no model designation on them

Very few people notice the W12 badges.

Very few people can notice such badges at all when you're doing funky stuff. That said, a silver A8 isn't exactly a hard car to recognize if they have their brands right.

lmao you beat me to it... people would probably just think it's a mistake and supposed to say V12, which very few people would also notice haha
