It's not "fast" compared to your car but just floor it off the line or from 5-10MPH especially and you will feel the nice completely lag free NA shove. 5.7 liters is a rather large displacement V8.
Remember, your car is faster than like 90% of what's on the road lol.

I was driving my V8 today. Such a dream! And the 5 speed auto transmission is outstanding. No start stop. Full-time Four Wheel Drive 4wd. Just majestic

I have to agree with Steve, the 5.7 when stock is "meh" at best but it does feel good at least.
You need to at minimum throw a cam/springs/pushrods in for reasonable output, I just did two more for local guys....
This one was a full rebuild with the above mentioned aftermarket items, also got the factory CAI installed just after this picture. Makes 450hp with 370tq and is solidly okay, a little rev happy but still nice and within expectations for a 350ish inch engine
Buy one anyway and swap the 2nd row with someone on the Jeep forums for their base config?
The base configuration is just captain chairs without the console or a 60/40 split bench that you can get with the Summit anyways. He’s need to remove the console and find a way to deal with the carpet between the seats which is just too big of a project.

Nah that's like an hour or two max, it's extremely easy to pull seats and carpet. Whenever I buy a car I remove the whole interior to detail it!

Yeah I have no interest in doing that, and having holes in the floor etc. The lease rates on these are GREAT so i will lease it too, I’d have to store the console and put it back. The Overland is fine, the trick I can see from looking at inventory is finding one with the advanced tech package with the lake centering and surround view camera which are must haves. There is one in Bethesda but it’s white and my wife isn’t going to want white (I think white and silver look great on it but she won’t want either, she wants a color so it has to be dark blue or red)

Order one now in the approved colors? If there are options that are must haves then ordering would be something to solve having to chance across one imo.
Every new car I've bought was ordered to make sure it's what I wanted since I viewed it as if I'm dropping that kind of money I want exactly the car I want.
