I have no physical Kroger card or anything, but I use my now long gone Grandparents' old home phone number, always have and will until I die or the # won't work.
I wonder if I'm the only one who does something like that sometimes.
I used to do that with Jewel (owned by Albertson's), but now they along with Mariano's (owned by Kroger) have weekly sale items that require a digital coupon be clipped. You need your own account and login to the app to take advantage. And in the latter case, Kroger Pay is hella convenient. One scan of a code from your phone gets you the discounts, coupons, points (used for gas discounts in this case), and payment info all in one shot.

I was using my great aunt's phone number until around 2 years ago. I was sad when it stopped working because it was a nice reminder of her.

not following, do you mean your Grandparents' phone # to use for getting supermarket points, or you've actually acquired the number for a land line or cell #?

I know, trust me. I was an only Grandchild on one side. To say we were close is putting it very mildly.

My Grandparents didn't live in Knoxville but they lived in a similar sized city where there were Krogers and that's where they shopped. I use their ollllld landline phone number for their Kroger Plus points, I type it in, instead of scanning a card or whatever for gas points. Their phone # still works. I don't see why it would ever stop because it's used so frequently. I sure hope it never stops working, at least.
Forgive me for snapping a pick while driving (HUD kind of gives it away), but I didn't want to miss a chance to snap this pic. Was behind a Porsche 928 today. I'm guessing a '95 model or so. Thought it pic-worthy as I haven't seen one of these in quite some time.

Nice. Porsches don’t really do it for me but this gen 911 does, saw it yesterday.
Lol just now a minute ago this ollllld 80 series Land Cruiser with a cougar inside we were waving and chatting it up cruising slow through a school zone. Love the enthusiasm Land Cruiser owners have. (I was in LX.)

Don't see these every day! Did you see Jeremy Clarkson's story about the 928 in the Top Gear Argentina special?
