Mercedes EQS flagship
The Model S has aged remarkably well in looks for a decade-old design. The EQS meanwhile looks like it was based on some FWD econobox from 15 years ago.
Let's see how the EQE turns out- that will be the volume model. Though given Mercedes's recent design trends, I don't expect the EQE to look much different from the EQS.

It looks like FWD economy sedan, it has those proportions which is odd considering it is a EV, plus Mercedes showed a really nice looking concept and then totally changed and ruined it. It is just such a dull design, if you are trying to get people interested in EV's then make it look like that concept or something really nice looking. It is almost like they said, we have to kind of make it look like a ugly/dull Tesla and hope people mistake it for a Tesla at first.
I never really cared for that gen. The previous and one that followed that looked much better.
I think the Audi eTron GT looks so much better than the EQS. I also think the 2022 Tesla Model S Plaid looks so much better than the EQS.
I know that bitkahuna absolutely loves the looks of the EQS. Each to his/her own.
The world would be an incredibly boring place to live in if we all thought the exact same cars looked good or bad.
The eqs is 9.4 inches longer than an etron gt. Just totally different cars.
i definitely agree the etron gt is a gorgeous car and much better looking than the eqs.
the eqs is obviously about maximizing interior space and efficiency over straight aesthetics.

Mercedes EQS Electric Sedan: The S Stands for Stunning
Love this:
The design — engineered from scratch rather than simply trying to electrify the existing S-Class — is unencumbered by style conventions. With no internal-combustion engine, transmission, exhaust or gas tank to build around — but with a thick battery pack down low — the car assumes a more fluid, high-riding, hatchback profile. With a stubby hood, and its wheels pushed to the corners, it also has a larger cabin than the gasoline-powered S-Class, in a smaller footprint.
The EQS’s category-defying shape presages more genre-busting in the future. “I believe that traditional three-box luxury sedan will, sooner or later, with electric footprints, die out,” Mr. Wagener said. “It simply doesn’t make sense.”

Cab-Forward design trend making a comeback.
