yes but how do you really feel? anyway, rear lights are never halogens so there's that and the LS500 rear lights definitely look like (GREAT) led lights to me.

anyway, back to the eqs, which seems to have a ZILLION (LED) lights in and out.

I don't really have an opinion on this car other than its performance will be great I'm sure.

 

The Red L shaped parts of the headlights are unevenly lit (dimmer at the edges). They look just like the 2016 Honda Accord.
They do not scream luxury and look at lot less premium than the 750, S Class and A8.

 

I love videos like this that MB releases on their instagram/YouTube. I know it is part marketing, but generally, the public has no idea what goes into producing a car. years and years of dedication.

Luxurious interior, tech laden, amazing little details, beautiful interior design.. just a darn shame the exterior has the same shape and silhouette as an eighth gen Civic. Doesn't exude the same presence the S-Class has for this caliber of vehicle.

 

i thought this car looked so ugly, but then i saw the unboxing therapy video and my decision is its going to be a winner. I also own an mercedes AMG so I am biased. i hope AMG makes it faster than the model 3 performance.

 

Mercedes needs to work on their charging infrastructure to even become a viable option. Until then, Tesla would always rule.

The lighting in the car is AMAZING. And i don't get any comparisons of this to a tesla model s - the eqs may not have 'ludicrous' acceleration but it is an actual luxury car.

review thinks the user interface and brightness of the screens though is not great.

and rear wheel steering for the win! (My LC has it, but not as much angle as this EQS)

 

We watched it this morning. I am little disappointed to see some of the comments on the buttons on the wheel and the center console. The driver seats seemed so small with no cushions. His comments on the screen in the sun were not expected. I felt like he was not so enthusiastic about the interior to be honest. The electric Power train seemed great however.

 

Did you see his video on the interior at night, he loves it.

The car sounds great, I still can't stand the look. Maybe I will feel differently when I see it in person. If it looked like an S Class it would be my next car.

i didn't care for the shiny black plastic on the steering wheel. The steering wheel left/right button areas do at least still 'click' (the whole area, not each individual button).

Not sure what you mean. There's no thigh bolsters on those seats, i assume because this is basically a silent cruiser and that makes it easier to get in and out. Reviewer does say there's optional sport seats which i'm sure are more bolstered.

 

390mi real world on a charge and he indicated that's not the biggest battery.
