W223s look great too, especially the 2 tone Maybachs....

I just couldn't stop noticing how sharp the rear end of that S-Class was in traffic. There was an S560 coupe near it and it just doesn't have that S-Class/top line expensive Mercedes presence, unfortunately. Not even close.

 

Yeah the rear end of the W222 looks like a sailboat, once you see that you can’t unsee it, looks very special.

I like the 222 from the front and rear and the smoother sides of the 223.

I actually LOVE the S Class coupe. It’s one of the most beautiful cars Mercedes ever made IMO.

 

I actually prefer the W223 over the W222 except for the recessed door handles.

I don't like the Maybachs at all, just too gaudy for me. Always has been. Same reason I've never been a fan of RR or Bentley.

 

Oh, I do too. I kept staring at it... fantastic looking car. Just not much presence IMO for a big Mercedes flagship coupe. Not like the ones before it at least.

Can't see the sailboat in the W222 yet but I'm looking.

The B58 is so good!! Look at that DTE. I’m sure the S68 is a beast but overall B58 would be hard to beat.

My dealer has a S68 X7 for a loaner. May give it a shot next time.

 

Yeah the old bigger one is estimated 7.5-7.9, right? That's why I was confused why the lady didn't like the newer one.

I think all the Maybachs are garish looking. Give me an ordinary S Class with the AMG styling package any day.

 

A regular S class should have some of that W140 "gansta" presence that the current model just doesn't have. But then cars like the Maybach, RR, Benley should have a bit of that "OTT in your face" arrogance. If you're driving one of these, most people will already hate you for being a douche, so might as well deserve it.
