I brought up the Morissette Scale, the internationally-accepted unit of measure for irony, the other day in another thread.
The above post is believed to be the first recorded instance of a perfect 10.0. The first time a full Alanis has ever been seen outside the laboratory. It is indeed rain on your wedding day, and a free ride, if you will, but we’ve already paid.
nicely done!
I had to look that up.
I love irony, it fascinates me. Lol
Everyone does it...

never brought up my 'appliances' nor preached about them but sure i think they blow away any camry. and no doubt your big well maintained luxury cars are awesome.
LOL
You are the "enthusiast" who traded an LC500 for a model Y and love the fact you don't have to drive.
That says everything.
And honestly? ████████ ██ ██ █████

I only buy new, but I keep them for a long time. This way I know how they are maintained, make sure there is no aftermarket parts of any other nonsense going on.
I'll never own a brand new car, probably ever. No matter how much money we have.
Let the first owner take the depreciation hit.
That said, some people just have to have brand new cars-- screw depreciation --and I totally get that too.

Agree with you both.
We have never bought brand new but have tried to buy with lower mileage and with some initial warranty left.
I can totally understand those that lease or buy brand new and want to be the first and only to have a history with the vehicle.
Whatever works for us all is what we do. To each their own.
I am driving back from Sebring and will handle accordingly. We seem to have a handful of egotistical rude maniacs who forget you are a guest here and blatant disrespectful won’t be tolerated
I did my taxes. No refund. I owe. Guess I can’t get a Porsche.
You did it right.

Either out of apathy or not seeing why a car that externally the same should cost $5-10k more just because the engine is a little different.
For every 40i BMW (B58 6 cylinder) model I see, I see at least 5 30i models (b48 4 cylinder). Most people either don't care at all or at least don't care enough to pay more for a better engine.
+1.

I remember reading you said GLC300 is fine but not GLE350, right? I personally thing I4s are fine for most of those buyers. But I was asking about the RX. The new smaller engine RX is faster than the old V6, right?

I haven’t driven the new RX. I did drive the 500h powertrain in the TX and it felt good. But the 4 cyl alone without the hybrid I haven’t driven outside of the NX.
GLC300 feels fine but personally “fine” isn’t enough for me in a luxury car. The 6 should be available.
