I respect you've been using FSD for 6 months with no accidents, but like I said I have been driving for 30 years with no accidents. So, 6 months doesn't convince me its safer than me.
I One thousand percent know there will be less accidents. Way less, especially if all cars are autonomous. My problem with FSD is different, it has more to do more with ownership, eventually people won't own cars, or anything else for that matter

Thats your assumption, like I said there is no data that shows is that yet.

You have to look at these things in the aggregate. Tesla (as the vendor with the most widely used self driving platform) publishes reasonably detailed data about accidents per total miles driven on FSD. Whether you accept the comparison or not, they compare it to the accident rate per total miles driven, and the accident rate per miles driven on FSD is markedly lower than the rate without.

There is plenty of data, Billions of hours and miles of FSD since it's inception. There is also my observation of over 30 years of driving and observing how the majority of people have no idea how to drive

And there have been accidents. The data from FSD users now doesn't solve for the population of all drivers. Your observations are not empirical on any level...hence why its your assumption. I also am not an average driver, I'm an above average driver so for me that factors into it as well.

Even Elon says we are still 2B miles short of the data he wants to see.

makes way less mistakes than humans, way, way less. And FSD had lots of issues before v13 and v14 and hardware v4. Yes FSD needs more training, but as it stands right now with my 6 months of using it in different cities and conditions reinforces that it drives better than any human when it comes to accident avoidance. I stand by that 1000 percent

You're just spouting your own opinions lol. Not facts. Your 6 months of experience moves the needle precisely zero for me, sorry.

Tesla is transparent about this, keeps a running total, and explains their methodology and bases for comparison:

Um, Tesla publishes data on this. It's you spouting opinions on a tech you've never used. I can care less if it moves any of your needles

And the data is not yet enough to prove that its safer than I myself would be. We can disagree on this, its okay. You trust tech over yourself I trust myself over tech, thats just a difference in mentality. That mentality isn't going to change. I don't like to be driven by other people either, I prefer to drive myself.

Its "I couldn't care less" when you say "I can care less" it means you do care. Just sayin

Literally everyone believes themselves to be an above-average driver As for Musk's 10bn mile data target, we're now only about 800 million miles short.
