I completely forgot that my FSD subscription expired, and this morning on my way to work I activated what I thought was going to be FSD, but noticed it was a bit different, and remembered it resets back to Auto pilot with Auto steer. It works, but kinda of wish I still had FSD

For me, $99 is the sweet spot. Any higher and I think the taker pool will shrink. As far as increasing price, so far they have kept the Premium Data plan at $99 a year and haven't increased it in the last three years

I can see it changing to a tier type of plan. The current Supervised FSD , non - supervised (ala robotaxi features) and any other tier that Tesla can come up with.
My feeling also it's also going to come down. From $15k, to $12k, then $8k and eventually they started to offer it as a subscription. $99 is a good price, but they will get more takers if you can cut it down to say $60 a month

Do you think Tesla ia making any real $$$ bank with the FSD?
It seems on going development costs would require a LOT of subscriptions.
Tesla does not disclose FSD revenue, up front purchase is rolled into vehicle sales revenue. Recurring revenue is deferred which makes it difficult to tease out an exact number especially since subscription revenue is reported as "Services and other revenue" which has charging lumped in. Services and other is about $15 billon/year if I'm not mistaken. My best guess is Tesla is grossing $1 billion/year from FSD so less than 1-2% of total revenue.
