Tesla Full Self Driving Thread
FSD has much more to it than just keeping a steady speed though. But you know this already. Ofcourse it's not perfect and you have to pay attention, but it has a much greater feature set.
Autopilot: Essential automated assistance — adaptive cruise + lane steering on highways. Best for straightforward, highway cruising.
Full Self-Driving (Supervised): Adds advanced maneuver support — intersections, city streets, complex navigation, automated parking, and enhanced summons. Still not fully autonomous and requires driver engagement.

Now, if I can catch up on emails while the car drives me to work we can talk.
All I can say is FSD is amazing, worth every penny
But you're not renewing your subscription, so its not worth the cost to you. Thats my point, is it really worthwhile when you have to sit there and watch it drive and do nothing? Clearly not.

At the time it was just an enhanced version that you paid for, all it did differently was change lanes when you hit the signal. Auto pilot itself is nothing special, FSD though is absolutely amazing, on my last trip (and using it to commute to and back from work the last two months) I was able to concentrate on other things. It even let me use my phone as long as I glanced up every now and then

I was just curious if AP works differently in Canada. I think EAP could also park for you like FSD does.
They offered it back in 2023 when I bought my Y for $6k. I don't remember if it offered parking, but I def didn't think it was worth the price just to switch lanes when you signaled. I think it was best they let that version go because it was a bit confusing, at the time I couldn't really differentiate between FSD and Enhanced Auto Pilot, and I'm sure others were confused as well
also, AP is dead now so not relevant. and we can thank California for killing it.
