In honesty, I know articles like this are just click bait, but still, humor me.

Your a brave man. Haha
Article is dripping, smothered, and covered in so much obvious bias I can taste it. 😂

Interesting read and data. So by Teslas own calculations their accident rate is far worse then humans.

You've gotta break some eggs to make an omelette, as they say. It's considerably harder to lead than it is to follow. Tesla, Waymo and others at the cutting edge are going to have issues like these. The only thing that really matters is how they respond.

An interesting thing I learned from the article is that Waymo, zoox and every other self driving company discloses the full narrative of their accident information, but Tesla supposedly redacts a lot of it on the NHTSA's crash database citing confidential business information.

that electrek data is interesting.

2 incidents with 'injury' were at 2 and 8 mph, lol.

over half were 8mph or less.

but yeah... there it is.

FSD ends for me on the 28th, it's been an amazing experience, I've been using it everyday practically for the last three months. It just gets better and better. Even one of my coworkers who is a die hard Mercedes owner (he currently owns a 2018 E350) and not an EV fan was impressed and said he would buy a Tesla just for FSD.

It's adapted perfectly to my commute, uses all the proper lanes, hasn't made even a single mistake. Mad Max is still a bit to aggressive, but dialing it down is the solution

Correct me if I’m wrong isn’t Tesla a level 2 system? Mercedes has a level 3 system? Waymo a level 4/5?
