I'm sure Rivian drivers will be fully aware of the limitations at all times.

Not sure what to tell you if you don’t see the difference between “hands free” and “autopilot” or “full self driving”

Which in your mind makes the Rivian system far safer because words> capability.

That's the effect of gas fumes. It's why I own so many cars.

looks like that’s been answered. your tesla is a computer… need to update it!!!

so you no longer (or maybe never did have to) toggl the wheel control left/right for fsd modes… just roll the wheel up/down (easier)

Why did you mention it?🤨

I’ll let you get back to your front seat uber rides.

Yes and I do that sometimes but I like to test it to see how it does on its own. Sometimes I will takeover and other times I let it do its thing to see what it does.

For example, last night I used it to get home from VA. There was traffic and for some odd reason it took a right turn and went on a side road that ran parallel to the road I was on because of some traffic only to get back on the same highway a half mile down the road. That actually cost me 5 minutes because it wasn’t easy to get back on the main road because that light was all backed up. I should have taken over but I wanted to see.

As for lane changes, it is still very hesitant and will start to get over and then quickly get scared and go back into the lane. This was during rush hour and you need to be quick.

I never said it was safer or more capable, I said the name was less likely to confuse people of what its capabilities are.

Its pretty clear that at current Tesla is the undisputed leader in autonomous driving.

You be the judge.

Maybe on paper, in reality Waymo is since they have paid rides over millions of miles.

During San Francisco's big power outage, Waymo's stopped. Tesla Robo taxis kept going.

You would think all that money and time since Waymo has been putting out autonomous cars they would have planned for something like the power or streetlights going out. Guess not
