Its funny when EV owners praise their car’s 0-60, 0-100, brag on beating 90% of cars on the road from a red light, posting EVs 60-130 vidoes 👇
But when a non EV owner mentions a 40 roll now all of sudden it’s considered “In other words juvenile, stupid, and reckless”
Just a software update 😉
I have the car seat in the backseat. I’ll be in the carpool line in 1hr.
Family sedan vs Family sedan😁
Basically, you need a push down a steep mountain road, which is how I view a "roll". But that's not even the point, I can compete with cars that have high HP, modifications (bigger turbos, DP's etc) are more expensive, and expend probably 5x the energy. They need higher levels of HP. Where my Model 3 begins to fall behind is speeds over 120 MPH, but I have no desire to drive that fast. I want the quick win, instant gratification, so I'll take 0 to 80 and do my victory lap

As someone who has transitioned to EV'S and has been a member for 7 years (the first three as a Toyota/Lexus owner), I just want to thank all my ICE owning friends on here for their patients and understanding. You guys are all awesome 👍. There was some resistance from some members on both sides when the forum was broken down into one, but I think the support has been pretty strong to keep it as a single forum, and I think it will all work out. I'm here to learn from everyone here, as well as share my experiences. In the end we all love and drive cars, ours just don't make noises .
There are many reasons I transitioned from gasoline cars to BEVs, and I have written a lot of threads on this laying out why. Of course living in California makes it much easier, but regardless, I haven't abandoned my love for "cars". I'll continue to share all my future experiences, and hopefully people will read them and get a better insight of why I decided this route.
I also want to thank all the mods for their hard work and patience. It ain't easy rounding up cats 🤣
i consider street racing juvenile, stupid and reckless no matter what the source of propulsion so stop the false dichotomy.
and since this is “general ev conversation” maybe you should take such back and forth to a new thread like “EV vs ICE racing or bragging”.
Next time an EV owner praises their 0-60 and beating almost every car on the road, I will tag you and you come copy and paste how stupid, juvenile and reckless it is officer 👮♂️.
And it’s not back and forth or EV vs gas racing, it’s just friendly banter/car chat between @AMIRZA786 and myself.

Alright man, stop dragging me in your juvenile talk 🤣.
But on a serious note, he's absolutely right. I've seen some pretty tragic accidents linked to racing. Let's take it to the track and make it legal 👍
