Watching some videos on the Lucid Gravity, including the one you posted @bitkahuna in that other thread. Seriously impressive. Literally the only thing practical you lose from a minivan is the sliding doors.
We’ve decided we’re probably going to get a full EV family vehicle to replace the Pacifica next September, and my wife is going to be selling real estate now so she needs something a little snazzier. We were thinking Rivian but we will have to look at one of these. Leases will likely be much better on these than the Rivian too.
If you live close to a service center then go for it. Hopefully Lucid has fixed a bunch of bugs and missing features last I saw the software was a train wreck.

glad you took a good look… i thought of your use cases / preferences when looking at it and thought it’s about perfect, especially with such great range and pretty luxurious. It’s a bit bigger than i need though.

The software seems much better. It looked quick and snappy in that video. We have a big Lucid service center right in Tysons Corner, its in the same mall where I go to get my hair cut. We're lucky, we have 3 Tesla service centers and a big Rivian and a big Lucid one.

Yeah its not really something I would look at for myself probably, I would rather have an Air but for my wife its pretty perfect. She really likes the Rivian but I think she would probably like the form factor and how this drives. The Rivian drives very "big"
The Gravity is likely to have better road manners too. The Rivian's built to be off-road capable and it rides like it despite the air suspension. It's not bad, but it's not smooth
Website says sierra ev starts at 89,900.
website says silverado ev starts at 52,800
both offer 170 or 205 kWh battery packs which give great range, but will take a really long time to recharge even at very fast chargers.
For comparison my ioniq battery is 77kwh and takes 15-20 minutes to charge from 18-80% at an ea fast charfer. Typically i charge from 30 or 40 to 80 or 90 in about 10-15 minites.

Silverado WT (Work Truck) Standard Range--which I believe is fleet-only--starts at $54,895, the difference between figures likely being destination fee. The base model that most consumers would consider is the LT Extended Range, which starts at $69,100
