The wouldn't be a big deal because I have a clear bra that covers the underside of the front bumper which would take care of the scrapes but on the left side there was rebar sticking up and it sliced through the clear bra underneath the bumper and paint and then punctured/ripped a hole in the plastic undertray. I was able to super glue the sliced part of the bumper back together but I want to get the undertray replaced becuase it mangled it a bit.

Of course with my Tesla service center luck and the fact that I can never talk to anyone becuase of the stupid app, I explained what part I wanted replaced and they thought it was a different part based on my description which I have no idea how they didn't know what I was talking about. Even in the app I questioned whether it was the right part since it was only going to cost me $90 to replace and install and they said it was right.

I wasted two hours out of my day yesterday only to hear they thought it was a different part and they don't have the part I actually need. Of course the part I need is not $90 installed, its $400 installed. So now I have to go back next week again and waste more time sitting at the service center for hours.
Ugh. Looks like the wife broke it in early for you. Doesn't sound too bad though, just annoying. My wife won't even drive my car because she is afraid something will happen. Which is fine with me. I'm fine with her just destroying her company car.

Mrs. Gjeebus takes the wheel of the new Model Y. I wonder how many people realize that half of what Gjeebs says is sarcasm and innuendo or just plain nonsense but does it in a dead pan serious way.

Car shuffling happened with my fam back in CA. My dad was driving my old GS350, but they got rid of that and he's now driving my old 3P. My mom (who was previously driving the 3P) got a new LR AWD Y. Turn signal stalk was the deciding factor between the new 3 and Y

Tesla was forced into this you just know they wanted so bad to do the best part is no part thing (I get the point but the phrase is kinda dumb).

That's why I chose the wheels I got with my Model 3. I didn't want to deal with Aero covers. At least hubcap style ones

It can't be that much. I would take them off for around town and put them back on for a trip

I really like the new Y. Drove it this weekend. It’s a big step up from my 22 M3LR. Quieter, more compliant, much more substantial feeling for a tin can. Room for my dumb mutt.

Need to talk with accountant first to see if we can finagle our 2025 AGI to be compliant for the tax credit. Otherwise I’ll just put another 150k miles on the M3LR.

Teslas are so easy to live with for the most part. The little shitbox has some charm for a soulless homosexual robot on wheels. I’ll be a repeat customer. The traditional manufacturers won’t abandon their painful dealertheif model or fully embrace the simplicity that Tesla engineering or UX exemplifies.

There's nothing soulless about either my 2023 MY LR or my 2024 Model 3 AWD. Love them both. Best appliances I've ever owned
