Test drive tomorrow of the Launch Edition Model Y!

There’s one in my local mall. I thinking overall is a significant improvement over the current one. Two additional speakers are nice addition. I suspect the additional front camera will be used to improve their 360. New suspension and noise reduction hardware should be good. Seats look like perforated. Ambient light is not too bad. Nothing like German but still looks OK. New look is nice imo. My wife thinks the current one looks better. As for launch edition… not a fan of white wheels.

 

wow... she's obviously entitled to have that thought but i suspect the vast majority would think the new one looks better.

just kidding around, you've said a number of times you plan to keep the Y. you have more self-control than i would testing the new one.

 

I have access to all types of cars. If I get cravings to drive something particular, I can hit up my friends. Everything from M4 Comp to a Plaid.

Don't get me wrong, I'm tempted like everyone else. It's just I really hate car payments

 

Dunno... Don't drive the Juniper!

 

No matter how much better the new Model Y is, my current Y is still excellent, and serves us well. Short of totalling it, Juniper is not in my immediate future. Test driving it is just my way of experiencing it and passing on information so others can make an informed decision. Plus, test driving a Tesla is like trying on a pair of shoes. Except you get to run around with them for 30 minutes, as long as you return them
