Anyone else experience this issue? A little concerning considering we’ve only had the car since late January. I don’t know if it’s an issue with the clips or if there’s an adhesive or something. We live in the desert where it gets warm, but my car is parked in the garage or in the shade 85% of the time.

The piece has expanded, which is why is pops back out. I can't believe the manufacturing process kicked out a "long" piece, so indeed it must have expanded from heat exposure. Unless when they remove it completely, they find something wedged into the corners preventing it from sitting flush. Looks like your interior is Palomino? They are going to have to order you another trim piece under warranty.
Have the same issue with trim piece, happened just a few days after purchase - dealer said that this is a common issue in the RX but no permanent fix as of yet. Happened to sit in a few other RXs and they indeed seem to have very weak clips holding that piece up. Can you give an update if you happen to visit your dealer?
Weird this is being mentioned. I had company this weekend and we were driving around in the new car. I looked at the dash area and saw a gap, like I could see behind. When I stopped, I pushed it back up. I hope this doesn't become an issue. It has been hot here lately.

I have an appointment next week for the 5,000 mile maintenance. I will give an update after my visit.
Seeing the same issue with mine. Was not noticable, and I could push it back in but expect it to pop out again. Following, waiting for a fix. Manufactured March 2023.
Thanks for posting.
