Finally found a way to make use of 20” 4th gen f sport wheels on my 500h. Bought a stud conversion kit on amazon while using original lug nuts that came with 4th gen wheels.

I just saw this article about new winter tire certification markings on the Car and Driver website.

I almost went this route as well. I found this route separately through googling, but there is a NX related thread discussing this method also. I refrained for one major reason and one minor one. I couldn't find a conversion kit with a grade of bolt on it, especially not through amazon. The other thing (minor) specific to my case is that the speedometer would have been off slightly for me. I end up selling them and then getting new ones for the 350h.

Good on ya. They look good.

Old news up in Canada. 3MP - Three Mountain Peak stamps are found on many brands. Where snows are mandatory (British Columbia in particular) the 3MP is one of the requirements from Oct 31 to Apr 30th. People have been turned back at mountain passes for not have one of 3MP or M&S tires.

" If your car is white, gray, or silver and it's snowing out, drive with your headlights on to make your vehicle easier to spot." The only study of which I am aware is one done by U Monash that says lighter cars are more visible. Go figure.

I thought the NEW specification icon was the other symbol, pictured? No snowflake.

It signifies better braking performance on ice.

Is this rated and certified as wheel lug bolt?

With that much thread it might get alot of stretching..... If the calculated the material specications and production is controlled then it's great discovery.

Will 20" 4th gen wheels fit the 5th gen 500h considering the OEM rims are 21"? There is about an inch of available room between the brake caliper and the rim on the front.

I checked a few websites like Wheelwiz and they make it seem like you can even fit 18s which I highly doubt.
Just a quick update on my previous post.

Swapped out stock 21" for 20" Replica wheels. The 1" loss in diameter is quite noticeable especially with higher profile tires. Is it worth saved $1,200? Absolutely!

Stock lug bolts worked perfectly fine with the new wheels.

Blank center caps are the only giveaways so I'm planning to deal with those in the near future.

If I understand your question correctly, yeah these are rated as wheel lug bolts. The brand is StanceMagic (never heard of them before) but I would hope what they say on their website/amazon is true.. in terms of rating. Fingers crossed i have no issues with them.

You are putting lots of faith in a company that only exists on Amazon and not sure how they test or certify their products..

For me the wheels, tires and brakes are the most important safety feature of a car. I personally would not want to take a chance with an unknown product for these. Just my personal OCD.

Are the Replika wheels flat seated or conical? They look flat seated in the link but not sure

X1,000 for me. Never mind the car; how can you put a price on what is inside the car? For me it's myself, my wife and our dog. When it comes to tires and brakes I do not skimp. I have dedicated winter and summer tires and their cost is a fraction of what the car itself costs. Even when buying one of the top of the line winter tires like the Nokian Hakkapeliitta's which I did. Other than the tires, I would much rather have my engine crap out while driving than my brakes. At least I would be able to STOP the car. Engines can be replaced but everything inside the car cannot be. Just me.

Default New tires and snows for the RX350h

This is the first winter with the new RX350h. The car will be used to commute to work this winter so I got new wheels and snow tires. Being as the factory 19 and 21 inch wheels are expensive and not real available as used or take-offs, I got aftermarket wheels. The options for 19 and 21 inch snow tires are very limited and very costly so I went with 20 inch wheels and tires. To keep the speedometer accurate, the 235 x 55 R20 size was chosen. Some photos below :

The seller added aftermarket TPMS sensors that were set up for the 2023 RX350 system. TPMS setup was pretty simple. I added these wheels as Set 2 and drove the car to register them.
While the Owners Manual says it takes 10 to 30 minutes of driving, these registered within 5 miles, about 8 minutes.
