Winter tire options
I went with the Hakka's too, now on my second winter with them. So far this ice rink winter has really put them to the test, and they have been great! No regrets with spending the extra $$$ on them.
Yes, but it is the configuration of the lug bores of the wheel that determine which type seat you need for a lug Bolt/Nut. I know that a few Toyota and Nissan's used flat seat (called Mag Seat) lug nuts on some models but I have never heard of any manufacturer using mag seat lug bolts. There are obvious torque/strength/mounting advantages and disadvantages to each.
I would not use a ball seat bolt on a mag seat spec wheel.

So after checking some aftermarket wheels, I noticed that the part number for a 2022 RX350 is the same for 2024RX 350 from Drag. Does this mean that aftermarket wheels can take cone shape lug bolt (2024 RX) and whatever 2022 lug nut style is? It does not make sense to me.

The AL20 Chassis uses the Mag Seat lug bolts. 12X1.5
You are referencing Gen4 OEM wheels in your original inquiry. The OEM wheels are drilled the way that they are from the factory. Now, you can take any wheel with the same mounting specs 5X114.3/60.1 and any manufacturer can drill the lug holes with any mounting spec that they want. If oem took Mag Seat nuts and you purchased aftermarket wheels with cone or ball seat, you would just have to buy 12x1.5 proper seat nuts to make the wheels work.
Your issue is that you are trying to mount the Gen4 OEM wheel to a Gen5 which will be challenging.

Sure, all that you need are wheels that are 5X114.3 bolt pattern with an offset (range) et36-40. I personally wouldn't go smaller than 20X8.5", but others in here have gone 18" (which definitely would not work with any F-Sport model because of the front calipers). Any aftermarket wheel will likely need a Center bore adaptor ring. Aftermarket wheel vendors mill wheels with a common sized center bore (usually in the 70-74mm range) so that adaptor rings make them usable on a wide range of vehicles. You'll have to buy new lug bolts to match whatever seat bore the lugs are for any given wheel. Check Tirerack for a bunch of affordable options.
The Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady2 is now available in the OEM 21" size, giving those of us with 21" wheels a 3PMSF Severe Winter rated option without having to change sizes. I'm at 7/32" on the OEM Bridgestone tires @ 25k miles, so it's looking like they might actually make it to the 40k miles they are rated for. Still hoping the CrossClimate2 will be released before then.
