This is a 1GB+ file so this could be the whole OS update. I have not installed for I just got it and gotta go to work. The upgrade process may take a while since this is a big file.
Good luck and keep us posted if you get a chance to do the upgrade!
To update; just go to Settings -> OS Update.(instructions directly from him).
Sorry I don't know his name so keep on addressing as him (could be a her).
Unfortunately this is not working for me. I formatted the USB to FAT32, copied over the file, but when I hit OS Upgrade is say "Cannot find update file." I tried both USB inputs, removed the SD card just in case, installed on the SD card, tried a different USB stick. The USB stick is seen by the system, but for whatever reason it doesn't see the upgrade file.
Did you have have to change the file extension, or anything like that?

I updated mine for IS no issue. You tried to upgrade with usb drive plugged in? You don’t need to copy over the upgrade file to Android OS.

Make sure the USB stick only has one partition or else it may read the small partition first and will give you that error. Once you plug your USB stick in the computer, make sure you only see one drive letter for the USB device.
I didn't have to do anything on the file. I made sure I deleted all partitions and format it as a single FAT32 drive before copying the file.

Hmm. Both sticks are 16gb, with no other partition than the Fat32. They’re both the same model, so I’ll go buy something different tomorrow and retry.

Try the below first using one of the USB stick you have;
Perform FAT32 quick format using diskpart
Step 1. Open your computer, and on the desktop, press the "Windows + R" at the same time to open Run box. And type “diskpart” on the box, and press Enter.
Step 2. When the Diskpart window opened, type the following commands, and press Enter after inputting each one:
● list disk (n is the disk that contain the target drive)
● clean
● create partition primary
● format fs=fat32 quick
Wait for a while, when the format is finished, type “exit” to leave diskpart
Then copy the downloaded file to your USB drive.
The file name that I downloaded is Android10_20210909.17_carsyso_lexus_nx.android10.img
-Turn on the car
-Wait for the head unit to initialize and boot to OS
-Insert USB stick to USB/Charge cable.
-From the home screen, Tap on Settings ->System Version->OS Upgrade
-Follow the prompts.
-Mine took 15~20 minutes (I was driving to work when I did the upgrade).

I will try and perform this update as soon as I get a usb stick.

I tried to upload file into Lexion and it doesn’t read my file. I tried two or three times with each time formatting the drive. I’m not sure if I’m using the correct USB port? I have two USB ports one says CarPlay and the other one says USB 1. Can someone that has had success let me know if I’m connecting to the right port?

Use the USB1 and you don't need to upload/copy the file to the Lexion unit.
Yeah I insert it in that port and follow your instructions and it doesn’t read usb drive for some reason.
can you share which usb stick you are using and see if that will work for me?
I used CarPlay USB port to update it worked fine for me. Even some usb stick I have around also worked not sure why you guys have issue? Maybe I got lucky but once it can read the usb stick the system will copy to local drive by itself it’s part of upgrading procedure.
Hello everyone
I jsut received the new harness from them a few weeks ago and had a chance to put it in. Everything works as planned, the touchpad integration is flawless. The screen is nice and huge and OEM looking. The only thing is this is strictly an apple carplay unit because i have not found any android auto features anywhere. He made sure to remedy the problem it just took a while because of oversea shipping and communication timezones. I am very happy with the product over any other units like roadtop. I bought a roadtop display for my 7 inch screen and that did not work at all as the touchpad was literally unusable. This product is vastly a huge improvement and looks way better in the interior making my car feel more modern. Im sorry for the delay but I only had a chance to put in the new harness today. Super pleased with everything and how it looks. I will be switching over from android to apple eventually. Big props to joon at lexion. Recommend to everyone who is interested in getting a bigger screen, who has a touchpad like me, and who wants to integrate APPLE carplay. My car mods are finally complete with this last addition and I am happy for it to be done. I went almost a month without a back up camera. cheers.
Sounds great. Android Auto wire can be supported too
