Official Lexus RC thread
Finally a coupe. Too bad I'm looking to get out of my current coupe and into a sedan (GS).
I hope this thing has the GS interior, at least in terms of build/material quality.

Looks like no more V8 for the new IS-F. Maybe it will be the same for this model too?

Not a DCT, it is a torque converter. DCT have a very distinct urgent instant shift sounds, this is a fast torque converter just like today's IS-F's 8-speeds. The shifts aren't slow, just not instant like a DCT.

Personally, I'd prefer a real manual for a car like this but would be willing to consider if it had a DCT.

After driving a manual for 20 years daily, now I just want a DCT in my sports car.
I know. The test car sounds just like the IS-F. I just find it strange that the chief engineer says there will be no more V8 in the next gen IS-F due to it doesn't meet the euro 6 requirement, and then you hear that engine in coming coupe.
Multiple sources is saying it is a V8 and this video confirmed it, I am happy

it is pretty obvious that it is NA V8
LOL! That is so true, of course all that with a little bit of author's twist like what he/she would love to see as end product.
I am with him on that, although is not a regular thing, I have seen quite a few M3's window sticker in the $85k~$95k range. You are correct, if you add up every "regular" packages, options and accessories, it maxed out at $79k.
But BMW can farther customize the car with their individual program with special paint, interior trims...........then there is a list of 14 M performance accessories that the dealer can add onto the car, louder muffler, lip spoiler, steering wheel..........those parts are very expensive, I think if you add up everything, it can be over $100k. Those $90k car just got a few selected items added on. Because not many sane people would pay $100k for a M3.
