I wish they are not going to name it RC in the production car, it makes me think as a radio controlled car.

The car is remarkably flat and balanced around the track. Looks like development is coming along nicely

 

It will be interesting to see what suspension/tranny combo is used.

IS F- 8 speed/LSD, 19s, BBK front rear

GS F sport 6 speed, optional rear steer, 19s, BBK front, no LSD

IS F sport, 6 or 8 speed, no rear steer in America, 18s, no BBK, no LSD

LS F sport, 8 speed, LSD, front BBK, 189s

(CT, RX left out on purpose)

 

Forget buying a 2014 IS F-Sport when my lease is up, I'm buying this badboy!

 

So this "IS-C" at VLN 5 was 18th overall this past weekend. I still have yet to find pics, but its fast lap was 19 seconds faster than the two Lexus IS-F CCR's that raced there as well.

 

can't wait for rc-f!! Hope it surpasses the new m4.

I know someone who got a 2011 M3 coupe with competition package and paid 92K
For that money they should got a gtr.

it only makes sense that this car is a more finished version of the ISC test mule from a year ago. no doubt whatever data they gather goes into RCF development...

 

Awesome job! Im going to host it on a motorsport forum, do you have any other links? The difference to this car is that its over 4 liters, so its probably running a V8.

 

This car's competition is Audi's A5 and BMW's 4 series. I'm very optimistic Lexus will make this car competitive design and performance wise. It's about freakin' time!!!!

They're most definitely using this as a development mule.

 

Hard to gauge the relative performance with the classes being so different. But top 20 is no joke

SPYSHOTS: Lexus RC-F Coupe helps a Genesis out



Our spy photographers came back with a rather interesting story from the Nurburgring today of a good samaritan in a Lexus RC-F Coupe.

The Hyundai Genesis that you see in this gallery ran out of petrol at the Steilstrecke corner, and had to be towed to the side by the Dodge Ram 1500 from E-Unit (Emergency Unit), which takes care of stuff like this.

A few minutes later, this Lexus RC-F Coupe stopped by and helped the Hyundai Genesis out with a can of petrol. Nice work, Mr Test Driver! Maybe the owner of the Genesis will consider an RC350 or RC-F next. See the upcoming Lexus coupe in a video here.
