Lol you guys are wild! I do agree with both of your opinions, being that why would they have 4 cats and also because of the length, most resonators are a bit longer. Let's see what you find out tomorrow.

I wish I would have kept them when I had them removed from my rc-f... Drove the car again tonight and really enjoying that piggyback from burger!!! I can't imagine what a full reflash would feel like...

I think you're madly confused lol. You're saying there's 2 cats on the downpipe and then two more after the downpipe? That would be a total of 4 cats, tf

Sure lets do $40 but hey since your so confident lets raise the stakes to $100 and go ahead and send the money to sheddy so he can hold the money until he sends it to me? I'm going to let you in on a little hint there cuzz, most resonators are longer due to being able to have more packing inside to actually Resonate Noise from the exhaust. Different lengths depending on how much sound dampening you prefer. Do yourself a favor and look further down the exhaust right before you get to the muffler on this car and you will see actual resonators but what I want you to look at is the length. The picture you sent is Way too small to be resonators...
Sheddy if you don't mind and willing to indulge us both send us your paypal address and lets get this party started if he agrees.....
take it easy boys, both of you have valid points, ultimately we all are after more ponies 😎😎 who cares how we get them

opinions are like people different.... and we respect all people so lets respect all opinions too

I remember driving around in a friend's 690whp supercharged E90 M3 w/o cats. And after driving around, (and during) we smelled like we were soaked in gas. The entire interior stank. You felt the soot and grease on your face. Engines are disgustingly dirty things. Cats help. A lot!

loooool u cracked me up 😂 Well honestly am completely catless and i don't have this issue wth my 200T

Not the same obviously but point being the exhaust on both cars starts with the primary cats, then secondary cats, then resonators, and finally followed up by the mufflers.. Stay tuned and lets hope he pays up.. lol
Fact is since the engine only a 2.0 there is only a single exhaust coming off the manifold feeding into a single primary cat then splits into the 2 shown in that picture. I'm open to any and all bets if anyone wants in??

Alright meow, back to the meow issue at hand meow, 2 cats or 4 for the meow 2.0L...
LOL my apologies!

We will see what the verdict is tomorrow. Again from my testing there wasn't a huge difference in power between stock mid pipe/ stock axle back and full straight pipe. The upgraded down pipe is what really makes the difference.

On the OEM down pipe there are 2 catalytic converters. What we are trying to figure out is that there are another 2 canisters on the mid pipe, so are those secondary catalytic converters or resonators.

The 2 smaller canisters are in question.
