I think I'm going to put my stock air box back on. Hopefully that'll keep the intake temperature down. It would've been nice if the BMS intake came with a heat shield or something..

Awesome! The down pipe + tune are the best performance upgrades you can do to this motor.

the material that the hps intake is made of has a much better insulation factor than a steel pipe or a thin piece of plastic.

i still don't see that as a justification to sell a pipe made out of rubbery material for that price...

I do agree that the price is a bit high for a silicone tube. A cold air intake doesn't do much since the air is warmed up by the turbocharger, but i think that it has a better air flow rate than the stock intake pipe and it sure looks nice under the hood.
The stock air box also avoids taking in hot air from the engine bay.

Same, in Arizona we see 115 consistently during the hotter months. Which is why I ordered the aem cai. It was the best design I could find

Have to agree on downpipe and Stage 2, is the best for the IS200T. Patiently waiting what TTI (Tony) comes out with next, I'm like to see an IS200 maxed out. As much as I hate to take ECU back to stock I have a service check this coming week. Hope I don't get told anything on the downpipe, I'll make sure engine is warmed up before dropping car off.

Sheddy I'm now debating getting the downpipe but concerned about the noise. Any idea how it would sound with the stock exhaust setup with the downpipes? Sounds clips?

I think you you should pay me the $100.00 instead of acting like it didn't happen
