Ok sounds good. Yeah, i would be adding exhaust for sound. The sound I'm looking for is a deep tone for when start up[ and punching the gas. Not loud when driving at any speed. Or maybe a little lol. Sound I'm looking for is deep throaty, mean almost like the BMW or mustangs. Not looking for a high tone that sounds like bees in the engine.

Right now I have a Injen intake and F-Sport springs 1in drop.

Thank you,

I have the Q300 its it Super Drony, so I would vote to stay away from it thou it gives nice preformance

Actually its weird because i feel like the car performs better with the stock system, but it can also be that i don't hear the engine sound with my windows up. I'm sure the axle back made a slight difference, but i think the down pipe was the biggest restriction on the stock exhaust system,.

^i wonder if its the fact the car is quiet it surprises you when the power hits. like with a loud exhaust you may expect the car to be faster than it is. Maybe it's a mind thing? I agree though I'd rather go stock exhaust all the way no matter what! bravo

Totally agree! If the axle back did make any difference it definitely wasn't significant.

Here's a comparison of Daniel's results with TTI Stage 2, Injen intake, de-catted turbo back exhaust and mine with Stage 2, HPS intake tube and catted down pipe (stock mid pipe and axle back).

After 4500rpm his power curve started to go over mine.

i've always had v8s in the past. a louder than stock v8 exhaust sounds good. it's all personal preference but imo loud 6 and 4 cylinder exhausts sound lame compared to v8s. i'll stick with stock.

Yup, especially since its a regular automatic too, it sounds annoying to me. If it was a DSG/DCT type transmission then that would be different. lol

Hey man I made an account just to commented on this page. Just bought a is200t yesterday and I already felt there's a bit of turbo lag when I pressed the gas pedal. Its kinda annoying and I happened to see this thread. Im interested on how to get this set up and is it plug and play? Is there a video or instructions on how to install? What else needs to be done after the ECU flash?

Sorry for the many questions but I did read couple of pages and Im liking the response and perf. boost.

Welcome!
What you are experiencing is a combination of turbo lag and throttle delay. The TTI re-flash made adjustments to the throttle and fuel ratio to help with this issue. The re-flash is not as simple as the piggyback, you'll get tools and software download from TTI to use on a WINDOWS laptop with internet connection. Its pretty straight forward with the instructions that will be included. If you are planning to go with the Stage 1 once you've uploaded the file into your ECU, you're good to go with stock and modified bolt ons. If you are wanting the Stage 2 it is recommend to get an aftermarket down pipe to get the full effect of the tune. All the contact information is on the 1st page of this thread.

lol , so basically dont waste your money for any exhaust for a turbo 4c. Before this is200t . I had a 04 TSX with just an intake and did a muffler delete . Sounds pretty mean for a 4c and only spending 200 bucks to do it. Love the Lexus though and Turbo. Maybe the 350 the big daddy is better for power of course. Hell, get that one and put a turbo in it lol.

Question: My dec guy said to really let your car have a turbo cool down everytime. Is this really really necessary? Makes since too but I have other people who have turbos and nothing was said. or maybe they didn't read the instruction booklet lol lol. Do they make Turbo timers. I can't find ones that work with this car. ir i guess i can sit for those 2 minutes or so
