Will try to get to this during the week. Gonna be busy packing. Vacay starting Friday!
I'll try Map2 for 5psi @Sheddy and let you know if I feel a difference.
Yes, been using map2 for a week now and definitely better engine response than map1.
318 ps is 313bhp. Bhp is at the crank whereas whp is 15% less than bhp\crank. 313bhp is 266.05whp.
Good call, I knew that sounded weird. I forgot bhp=crankhp. Still it's nice to see another tunable option especially if it gets to tuners in the States. Now just hybrid turbo and tune!

Yeah but what are the odds we will get an official update for our cars at the dealership?
I will hope that if its just a software and not a hardware update then it can be done. Like Z said if Tony (TTI) can get his hands on the 2019 i am sure he will be able to copy the mapping or tell us whats the difference.
In 1st my car launches at 900rpm but doesn’t spool out of vaccum until after 2k rpm even with a plugnplay or reflash. It would be awesome if the new remap from Lexus allows the turbo to spool well before 2k

Problem with building boost earlier than that is it can cause undue stress on the rods and rod bearings. This was the case on Mazdaspeed 3’s making boost before 3K. If you did you were almost guaranteed to vent the block.
