Is a catch can actually worth investing in? Are there any performance benefits besides just trapping the oil from going back into the intake tract(which, of course, is a benefit)?
Thanks! You needed a new/secondary water pump with the HE upgrade? I thought the stock electric water pump would be sufficient.
i put it as a precaution, i notice the stock pump only works certain time with different speed with a the secondary pump u can notice the water is flowing right after u start the car, i wired it to turn on when the key on (ignition 2) position, it cools the turbo char under 200F and the intake air charge, no soak heat after long drive or idling... stock heat exchanger is part of the radiator which affects the cooling...
anyway i recomend to everyone to get a catch can (atleast 3) for our car, i notice theres a oil inside the stock charge pipe when installing car lab tuning charge pipe last night it looks like its coming from the two big hose of the valve cover.

That's awesome, thanks. I am really looking forward to your dyno results. With the lower IAT you should get much better performance.
After running the stock tune and then BMS for some time i was finally able to load my TTI Stage 2+ and the car is running like a champ. I am hoping to dyno my car again since the last results were done incorrectly. As you can see the run didn't start till later in the RPM range.
Hi Sheddy does TTI eliminates the lag issues? Even with BMS and a hi flow Downpipe, the lag doesnt quite improved. Frustrating especially trying to do an overtake.
The TTI tune does help with the delay and the pedal feels more synchronized. The BMS doesn't affect throttle feel since it's just a piggyback. On the 1st page of this thread I have pros and cons of both systems.
pnoygil can we see pics of the new heat exchanger setup installed? would like to see how you routed the plumbing. i imagine this mod alone would help w/ power without any tune.
this one is 27" across with 0.8" inlet/outlet. i imagine the prius pump (good choice btw) was plumbed up somehow to be in line. would like to see all the fittings and how it was done.
Im still using the stock HE i just added it for better cooling, i cant get a good picture with the aftermarket HE without removing the front bumper, connection is pretty easy by following how the coolant flow...
Got my stage one in! Thanks to Sheddy. Let's plug this baby in!
Enjoy bud!

Thanks for the information! I am guessing you have an NX?
