Didn’t the JB4 help with the throttle issue though?

From what i've seen the BMS Stage 1 reads "100%" throttle once the pedal is fully depressed with the "kick down" so it receives a WOT signal to start increasing the boost request. With the JB4, Terry made an adjustment that sends the "100%" signal when the pedal is depressed without going all the way to the kick down click, so it still doesn't address the throttle delay, but just alters the throttle signal. You would still want to hit the kick down since it drops to the lowest gear.

Makes sense. Well unless there is some type of sale soon, I won’t be getting the JB4.

Yea, your Stage 1 is capable enough. Just get the data cable and crank up the boost.

Looks like another piggyback unit. I highly doubt their HP claim is correct....

It seems that as of right now all you get is monitoring capabilities which I can already do with my Bluetooth OBDII. The boost changes and stuff still happen on the actual tuner with the data cable to a computer.

This is an email I got from someone over at BMS. No real difference YET. JB4 is still similar to the Stage 1.

My JB4 had the Infiniti Q50/Q60 motherboard so it had similar settings. Once the Lexus JB4 is fully developed it will have different map with boost settings.
I do have a BMS Stage 1 with data cable that was used for less than a month if anyone is interested.

Damn it I was going to try to buy the data cable off you but it’s the one for the tuner with no case lol

How much you letting it go for Sheddy? Willing to ship 85033? This would pretty much be all I need, right?

I'll let it go for $320 shipped. It comes ready to plug and play, I can connect the data cable for you as well.
@Flash the gray connector on the data cable can be removed to work with the case.

I can do $320.

Honest question, is it worth it to just get the JB4 already or am I good with the Stage 1 for now? I can still adjust boost with the data cable with stage 1?

Planning on getting down pipe too.
I was going to get my intake but rather use the money I got to buy your stage 1.

The JB4 will have more features than Stage 1, but they are both doing the same job. With the data cable you will be able to adjust the boost settings higher with the addition of the downpipe.
