Does anybody know if it would be possible to do a TTI Stage 2+ tune and install a slightly larger aftermarket turbo with that tune?
I'm still trying to figure out why nobody has tried this yet. I understand that the ability to tune this ECU is a pretty recent development, but TTI seems to have that down to an extent so why not use that tune with a bigger turbo that won't drop off at high RPMs?
Is there some piece of information I am missing or not understanding?
i reccont it can be done by TTI but u either need to fly Tony to you or send the turbo to him coz you will need a custom tune for your aftermarket turbo
Anyone willing to lend me their TTI reflash tools so i can take my car in for service? I am willing to pay for shipping and compensate some $. Please PM me.

are you taking it in with the downpipe still on? My diverter valve thing is going bad again but im worried about taking it in to the dealer with my downpipe on

just curious what service? oil change? only thing our new cars would need.

do the oil change yourself =D
I do oil changes myself, but i want to take it in to get the vaccum regulator replaced since i still have the original one in place. I am taking it in so they can record a dealer service for re-sale purposes as well.

If I had the TTI software already could I not just have it tuned with the new turbo at a local tuning shop?
Is the new one that went bad the new updated one?
and did you ever open up the old one you had to see what the failure is? i'd be very curious to see what the problem is.
My last regulator is supposedly one of the revised parts, but that also failed. I am on my 4th, but since ive never had the dealer replace my original then i figured ill take it in and have them replace it as a backup. I've never open them up. I know theres a little foam filter, but even if you clean it the issue is still present.

Have you noticed if the car sound different while driving around with the bad regulator?

I think at the end of the day the valve is getting gunked up with carbon/oil from the intake tract. They need a larger valve or better design that doesn't stick.
