So I have done it all now I am frustrated. After three alternator two brand new battery, replaced battery connectors. My charging light is still on, has anyone had this experience if yes how did you fix it. Need help real bad
New connectors, new belt, new pulley the light goes out when I drive around 40-50 mph
Which pulley or pulleys did you replace and did you only replace the pulley(s)? If you replaced the tensioner pulley and not the tensioner itself, that's possibly the issue. I would recommend checking that the belt tensioner is providing the proper tension based on the marks on the front of the assembly. Refer to step 3(d).
imho the battery is not a moving target, but with my Nissan I got 3 brand new starters all defective basically out of the box and installed by me. any chance the failed alternators are all the same brand, which would be likely since if failed, a replacement is done under free warranty?
I'd simply check the voltage first. Especially the voltage between the B terminal and the body of the alternator. Then the voltage at the battery terminals. The voltage supply begins from the B terminal, you know.
