thank you...35 offset but the spokes on the wheels protrude outward, u cant see it but i have a bbk i put together from a 95-2000 Ls and the wheels barely clear the calipers. as far as the ride..its a lot more stiff...but the trade off is it handles so much better especially with low profile tires and a 8.5 inch wheel. the bc's have 30 way adjustable compression/rebound settings. hope this helps
Yes it does, thanks again.. I wish I had someone near me that has a similar setup so I could see what a lot more stiff feels like? I'm sure switching from my original wheel/tire combo to a setup similar to yours is will stiffen the ride. I may get the wheel / tire combo installed and see how that feels, then figure out what I going to do on lowering it. Coil overs with their adjustability sure do seem appealing, being able to adjust height, rebound, and damping. You mentioned that its a lot more stiff but it handles much better, if you wanted could you soften up the springs any more from your current settings giving a softer ride, or are your springs already set on a softer setting? I'm just trying to get a idea of what kind of adjustability I will have if I go this route.
Thanks
Pete
u could soften it to some degree..but it will never have the floaty feeling. i hated that anyway..i also wanted to get rid of the wheel gap,so i lowered the car to fit the wheels.

Suspension stock for now, still researching coilovers to lower it. Specifically the front has to come down.
Just a couple of candids
If someone has scratches should IO get car repainted or do paint corrector?
I would try wheeling it out first and see what it looks like. Iv'e detailed cars for years, you'd be surprised at what will come out after doing a major correction on a paint finish. If you have it painted and want it to look like it did from the factory it will cost plenty.
I have to admit it has been very tuff picking out wheels for this car. I have spent a ton of time online looking at wheels, trying to envision each one of them on my car. Looking through this entire thread multiple times at all the beautiful setups you guys have. I love the 5 spoke star shape wheel, but I also love the VIP style wheels..and the many many more. The Konigs I bought looked awesome but once I sat one up against my car I was like..."nope" looks way too sporty for my ride. I think the car could pull them off but it just wasn't right to my eyes. Also the grey just blended in too much with my car and I thought to myself that brushed aluminum would look nicer.
Then I saw the Asanti wheels and I was like...."yes those look good" (To me anyway) and went for them. Of course once they arrive I may send them back too but I have always loved this style of wheel and I like that the Asanti 's have that old and new take on the style.
I suppose I will find out tomorrow or Thursday when they arrive.
Thanks man. The only thing that kinda bugs me is the front poke out slightly more than the rears. I did not know the front end is slightly wider than the rear. I ordered 19x8.5 wheels all around with 38mm off set. It looks good but my eyes keep getting drawn to the difference.
I'm thinking about returning the back wheels for 19x9.5 @ 40mm back space which would provide 10.7mm more poke and even it out with the front wheels. Going to call the shop tomorrow and see if we can work this out. 10mm is not much so I don't know if it is even worth the hassle. I imagine only people like me that are detail focused will ever notice it.
